Shop January’s Friends of the Library Book Sale

Stock up on reads at 2023’s first weekend-long book sale of the year!

Channel your inner Matilda and pile those books high: Prices range from 25 cents up to $3, and some are even free!

Book Sale Details

Time: 9 am-5 pm Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 12-14

Where: The Friends Room on the lower level of the Newport Branch (901 East 6th Street)

The lower level can be accessed from the side parking lot. Cash and checks are accepted. All profits go to the Friends of the Campbell County Public Library, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote and improve library services, materials and facilities for the people of Campbell County.

No registration is required.

Future Book Sale Dates

The Friends host a weekend-long used book sale every other month Thursday-Saturday. Mark your calendar for 2023’s dates:

  • Jan. 12-14
  • March 9-11
  • May 11-13
  • July 13-15
  • Sept. 14-16
  • Nov. 9-11

The Friends also host a book sale from 9 am-Noon on the fourth Thursday of the month, January through October 2023.
