Manga to Anime Club: ‘Dr. STONE’ by Riichiro Inagaki

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For September, we will be discussing Dr. STONE by Riichiro Inagaki (illustrated by Boichi.)

In 2019, a mysterious flash suddenly petrifies all of humanity. The human race is frozen in stone for 3,700 years until in April 5738, when 16-year-old prodigy Senku Ishigami is suddenly revived to find himself in a world where all traces of human civilization have been eroded by time.
