Enjoy festive live music, crafts, special guests and more at your favorite branch.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Each library branch is hosting a Holiday Open House to celebrate the season with patrons.

Holiday Open Houses

Cold Spring

9 am – 2 pm Saturday, Dec. 3

Cold Spring will transform into a winter wonderland complete with a train display, to-go snacks and crafts highlighting Christmas, Hanukkah and Kwanzaa. Local musician Ricky Nye will provide live music from 11:30 am-12:30 pm.


Carrico/Fort Thomas

10:30 am – 2:30 pm Saturday, Dec. 3

Get in the holiday spirit with treats, crafts and other activities. Carrico/Fort Thomas’ lineup includes family book BINGO from 10:30-11:30 am; a performance by Tallant Music Studio from noon-1 pm; and adult book BINGO from 1:30-2:30 pm.


Newport

Noon-3 pm Saturday, Dec. 10

Take in all things merry and bright at Newport! The schedule is as follows: Unwind to holiday music performed by the Chris Comer Trio from noon-2 pm; meet Cam the lion from 1-2 pm; check out the photo booth from noon-3 pm; adult and teen crafts will be available from noon-2:45 pm; children’s crafts will be available from noon-3 pm.


Alexandria

2-4 pm Saturday, Dec. 10

Make crafts, listen to festive live music and meet Santa! The afternoon kicks off with Santa reading a story, which will be followed by a meet and greet. Leave with a sweet treat.
