Northern Kentucky libraries are banding together to provide new parents with information about early literacy and a start to their board book collection.
Campbell, Kenton and Boone County Public Libraries have teamed up to provide new parents with an informational brochure about the importance of reading to babies.
The brochure, available at parenting classes held at St. Elizabeth campuses, demonstrates the importance of reading to your baby. Reading together every day builds strong minds and nurturing relationships.
To encourage new parents to start reading, all NKY library branches have free board books for new parents. Just mention this blog or the brochure at the check out desk and we will give you a book to start your at home collection.
Each library also hosts story times most weeks. Check out the list to find the right one for your family.
