Tower Tuesdays & Jolly Thursdays 2025

Enjoy free events at local parks in June and July!
We have a jam-packed schedule for Tower Tuesdays and Jolly Thursdays this June and July! All events start at 10 am. No registration is required.
In the event of inclement weather, updates will be posted to the library’s website and social media accounts. Also, you can call any of our library branches for updated information.
Families are welcome to bring their own blankets and chairs as seating.
Check out the full schedule below!
Tower Tuesdays
All Tower Tuesdays take place at 10 am on Tuesdays this June and July at the Tower Park Amphitheater (900 S Ft Thomas Ave, Fort Thomas, KY 41075).
June 3: Honey Hill Farm Mobile Petting Zoo
Join us during Summer Reading Kickoff Week for the first Tower Tuesday of the season! Children can interact with the animals of Honey Hill Farm and register for Summer Reading.
Visit cc-pl.org/summer-reading for more Kickoff Week details.
June 10: Aaron Harp Magic Show
Sit back, relax and be entertained by the magic of Aaron Harp. Aaron has over 21 years of experience and has been featured on the NBC show “Let’s Make a Deal” with Wayne Brady.
Come and see — and maybe even touch — the sometimes slippery, sometimes slithery animals from the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.
Cool down from the summer heat by dancing and playing in a huge pile of foam!
The foam is created by machines that produce bubbles by mixing water and a special soap solution. We recommend wearing appropriate clothing and goggles during the event since the foam can be several feet deep.
July 8: Family Concert with BIG BANG BOOM!
Visiting us from North Carolina, these dynamic dads play upbeat, educational and interactive live music for children. BIG BANG BOOM’s live show will be energetic and fun for the whole family! Playing covers (with a twist) combined with their hard-rockin’ funky original music has kept BIG BANG BOOM in high demand.
July 15: Science Heroes presents Adventure of the Missing Color
Join Science Heroes on a mission to turn science into an adventure! Attendees will enjoy hands-on experiments and interactive stories as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art!
The Brick Mobile is a brick learning center that uses thousands of authentic LEGO® bricks to inspire creativity in all ages. A master builder will be walking around to lend a helping hand with building.
We will also have fun games and a craft. Don’t forget to climb aboard the library’s Book Bus to take home a free book!
*There is no Tower Tuesday on July 1.
Jolly Thursdays
June 5: Madcap Puppets presents Monsters of Baseball
Summer Reading Kickoff Week continues with a fun show from Madcap Puppets!
The sign at the ballpark says, “No Monsters Allowed!”, but that doesn’t stop Roscoe from sneaking a little monster named Gus in to see a baseball game. It seems they’re not alone as more monsters begin slipping into the ballpark to join the fun. Giant puppets bring the history and tradition of baseball alive through songs, stories and poems. There’s room for everyone to celebrate America’s favorite past time.
Visit cc-pl.org/summer-reading for more Kickoff Week details.
Want to be razzled and dazzled? Joey Holt is a versatile juggler and magician with over a decade of experience. His one-man circus is sure to entertain audiences of all ages with unique comedy and amazing feats!
June 26: Science Heroes presents Adventure of the Missing Color
Join Science Heroes on a mission to turn science into an adventure! Attendees will enjoy hands-on experiments and interactive stories as we celebrate the scientists who color our world with art!
If you can’t make it to this performance, Adventure of the Missing Color will return for Tower Tuesday on July 15.
