We are happy to announce that the world’s most popular consumer online genealogy resource is now available to in-library users, whether on our public computers or your own device via our public Wi-Fi! Answers await everyone — professional or hobbyist, expert or novice, genealogist or historian – inside the more than 7,000 available databases. Unlock the story of your family with sources like censuses, vital records, immigration records, family histories, military records, court and legal documents, directories, photos, maps and more.

Start Researching

Visit any of our branches and use one of our public computers to access Ancestry Library Edition. After logging in with your library card or visitor’s pass, click on the Ancestry Library icon (pictured here) on the computer’s screen to visit the website. All information obtained on the website can be downloaded onto removable storage devices such as a flash or external hard drive. The website also has a feature that allows you to send documents to your email address.

If you are inside a branch and connected to our public Wi-Fi, you can access Ancestry Library Edition on your personal device (phone, laptop, tablet, etc.) by visiting https://www.ancestrylibrary.com/. You must be connected to our public Wi-Fi in order to access Ancestry Library Edition.
