Amnesty for All

Take care of yourselves and your loved ones. We’re taking care of your fines and fees.

The Campbell County Public Library is waiving all fines and fees prior to March 14, 2020 when our branches closed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Everyone can return to the library and utilize our services without the barriers of outstanding charges on their accounts.

You do not need to come to the library to clear your account, but all items currently checked out should be returned to the library. Until we fully reopen, overdue fees for returned items will not be charged.

“People have been through a lot and we want to make it as easy as possible for our patrons to use their library again,” said JC Morgan, director. “Amnesty for All wipes the slate clean and provides a fresh start for when people can walk into our buildings, use our computers and check out books. This is especially important for people who have suffered financially through this pandemic.”

In addition to Campbell County, dozens of other libraries around the state are offering Amnesty for All to help patrons recover after the stay-at-home coronavirus restrictions are lifted.
