Manga to Anime Club: ‘One Piece’ by Eiichiro Oda

Join us at the Alexandria Branch for Manga to Anime Club! This is a book club where we will read the first volume of a manga series each month and have a discussion about both the manga and the anime. Anyone who has read the manga or watched the anime is welcome! Light snacks will be provided.

For August, we’ll be discussing One Piece by Eiichiro Oda.

It follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young pirate with a dream to become the Pirate King by finding the legendary treasure known as the One Piece. Luffy sets sail with his crew, the Straw Hat Pirates, on his ship, the Going Merry, in search of this ultimate treasure.
