Early Literacy Play Date

Literacy and play go hand in hand. This program combines them to prepare children as they learn to read! At this event, we will provide families of young children with space to play and learn.

For the young ones, we will have stations with toys, activities, and games that encourage pre-literacy skills. For adults, community partners will be available to discuss resources and services in the area that can help set children up for success.

We have goodies to give away. Each child will be given a bag with toys inside, a free book from our Book Bus, and a grand prize entry for the chance to win a literacy prize pack for your home. Also, a Princess will make a magical appearance to give away balloon animals throughout the program.
