Homeschool Book to Movie Club – “A Wrinkle in Time” by Madeleine L’engle

Have you read the book or seen the movie? Here at Homeschool Book to Movie Club, you can do both!

Every 3rd Thursday of the month at 11 am, we will discuss the club’s book with a special talk about its movie counterpart. Register for this program to get a free copy of the book to keep. The books will be at the Cold Spring Branch from February 18 through March 18 to pick up. If you can’t pick up at Cold Spring, tell us your location choice using the special needs section of the registration form or email Brittany at bparr@cc-pl.org.

For March we will read:

A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L’engle

“Meg Murry and her little brother, Charles Wallace, have been without their scientist father, Mr. Murry, for five years, ever since he discovered a new planet and used the concept known as a tesseract to travel there. Joined by Meg’s classmate Calvin O’Keefe and guided by the three mysterious astral travelers known as Mrs. Whatsit, Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which, the children brave a dangerous journey to a planet that possesses all of the evil in the universe.”

Due to registration limits and social distancing requirements, we encourage adults to remain in the library but allow their elementary age child to attend the program alone – only if child and adult are comfortable. If an adult needs to accompany a child, the adult must sit with the child so as to not contribute to room capacity.

Everyone, age 6 or older, who attends library programs are required to wear masks.

Please note any accommodation requests in the Special needs section of the registration form.

All this not arriving together must maintain 6-foot social distance.

If Campbell County is in RED on the Kentucky Department for Public Health’s Covid-19 Dashboard, all in-person programs will be cancelled and those registered will be offered the online option.
