Zoom Program: Homeschool Book to Movie Club

Have you read the book or seen the movie? Well, here at Homeschool Book to Movie Club, you can do both!

Every 3rd Thursday of the Month at 11am, we will be talking all about the book club book with a special talk about the movie. Register for this program to get the book. The books for book club will be at Cold Spring to pick up on January 25th and each child will get to keep their book. You have until February 17th to pick up your book. If you can’t pick up at Cold Spring, tell us your location choice using the special needs section of the registration form or email Brittany at bparr@cc-pl.org.

For February we will be reading:

“The Watsons Go To Birmingham”

                       by Christopher Paul Curtis.

“When the Watson family—ten-year-old Kenny, Momma, Dad, little sister Joetta, and brother Byron—sets out on a trip south to visit Grandma in Birmingham, Alabama, they don’t realize that they’re heading toward one of the darkest moments in America’s history. The Watsons’ journey reminds us that even in the hardest times, laughter and family can help us get through anything.”

This is a live program that will be conducted via Zoom, a free online video conferencing platform. Registration is required. On the day of the program, we will email you with a link to join the live program. You are not required to have a Zoom account.
