Homeschool: Autumn Harvest

With Thanksgiving just around the corner, spend some time learning about local harvesting schedules and the history and culture of feasts. Towards the end of the program, we will have a simple fall craft and small taste test of popular foods associated with fall.

For food allergies: We will be sampling apples, broccoli, sweet potatoes, carrots and blackberries. Some of these may be seasoned with things such as salt, black pepper and garlic powder and roasted with olive oil. If you or your child will be participating in this program and would have an allergic reaction to any of the above mentioned foods, please contact Jessi Holloway at jholloway@cc-pl.org to discuss the best course of action to keep you or your child safe.
