Are you a mystery lover? The Cup of Crime Book Club is for the mystery reader. Have some coffee and join us to discuss Dorothy Gilman’s first book in the series, The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax.

Mrs. Pollifax is a beloved character that has long been a fan favorite. Dorothy Gilman’s books have been turned into plays and made for TV movies. Mrs. Pollifax is a widowed senior citizen who decides one day to leave her comfortable New Jersey apartment and join the CIA. Through an initial misunderstanding, Mrs. Pollifax is given a simple assignment by Operations Chief, Mr. Carstairs, and her ensuing adventure leads her to a career in espionage.
