Danielle visited CCMS on Wednesday, May 15th for the final #CCMSReads meeting of the school year. This month, I bought pizza to celebrate the end of school with the students, which they loved! I talked to them about summer reading and gave them title selection packets to choose the books we will read for the book club next year. The book we discussed this month was Savvy by Ingrid Law, which follows a family who get magical powers on their 13th birthdays. Everyone really enjoyed this one! I’m really sad that this book club is already done for the year, and some of my students will be moving on to the high school next year. They’re a really great group!
