Join our  Alexandria After School program geared for 1st through 5th graders.  This week we are going to be working with Shari the Bag Lady to help make plarn. Plarn is a word created to describe plastic yarn, made out of recycled bags, which you use to make waterproof items. We will learn about how to reuse plastic bags to make sleeping mats for the homeless in our community.
