Zoom Program: How to make a Graphic Novel with Shannon Wright

Shannon Wright is the illustrator of the graphic novel, Twins. She has taught a comics course at Virginia Commonwealth University and her artwork has been featured in the likes of The Guardian, TIME Magazine, NPR and Google. Shannon also provided illustrations for books by Celia C. Perez, Ilyasah Shabazz and others. Join us to hear her insight into designing characters and translating a script into artwork.
Attendees are entered in a drawing for copies of her book Twins. Winners will be drawn at the end of the Zoom.
This is a live program that will be conducted via Zoom, a free online video conferencing platform. Registration is required. On the day of the program, we will email you with the link to join the live program. You are not required to have a Zoom account.
