  • Why did you want to serve on our board?
    • I love this library system because it does impressive work for Campbell County. It reaches out to every person in every community. It provides materials, services, and programming for parents, children, teenagers, adults, and senior citizens. I am honored to contribute to its mission.
  • What is your favorite library memory?
    • I loved the bookmobile that visited my elementary school. That’s how I got my first library card. I thought it was so cool that I could pick any book I wanted, borrow it, take it home and then exchange it for another one.
  • What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
    • This one came from dad: Listen to others respectfully, even when you disagree.

    • A light bulb (because you never know when you’ll need a spare).
  • Please share a fun fact that people might be surprised to know about you.
