NKY Forum: Understanding and Using the 2020 Census
Thursday, May 5, 2022
9:30 am - 11:00 am
The 2020 U.S. Census is an incredibly important database as federal funds are distributed, legislative districts redrawn, and communities measure their growth. Matthew Ruther directs the Kentucky State Data Center and, as such, is sort of the “interpreter-in-chief” of census data for our state. Dr. Ruther will tell us what the 2020 census tells us about Northern Kentucky: Where are we going on how? What trends are apparent? This Forum will be of particular interest to businesses, school districts, local government,s and nonprofits that use census data in planning the use of their resources and/or in seeking grants or other funding.
