National Issues Forum: Health Care

Are there areas of public life where Americans can agree and work together to solve problems?  In this program we will be discussing “How Can We Bring Costs Down While Getting the Care We Need?”

This moderated discussion encourages diverse opinions to be discussed in a fair and equal way.

What to expect?

  • Small-group facilitated discussions p. Each library can host several groups.of 6-8 people per group.
  • The issue guides are nonpartisan, factual guides prepared by the National Issues Forum.
  • The goal is to explore whether there is common ground to address the health care issue.

NKY Forum

The Forum’s purpose is to foster civil, civic dialogue on topics of community interest.  The Forum is a partnership between Campbell County Public Library, The Scripps Howard Center, Boone County Public Library and Kenton County Public Library.

Hidden Common Ground

Hidden Common Ground is a joint project of USA TODAY, Public Agenda, the Kettering Foundation and the National Issues Forum. USA TODAY will be reporting on the dialogues nationally.
