Lunch & Learn: Lineillism Revealed – The Inside Story of the Documentary & Exhibit

Bellevue’s own Steve Oldfield has created an award-winning documentary and traveling museum exhibit featuring the work of Jim Hall, a Kentucky-born artist who created the new art form Lineillism after nearly being blinded by a case of the Shingles virus.  After a chance meeting with Oldfield, the filmmaker and artist collaborated on a documentary and museum exhibit over a two year period, finishing up just before Hall’s sudden and unexpected passing in August, 2017.

Oldfield will share stories of their artistic journey and include a demonstration of the Lineillism style and insider tips on how to create a festival and television worthy documentary within a very small budget.
