Beginner Yoga for Teens

Interested in learning how to start yoga?  According to the National Institutes of Health, scientific evidence shows that yoga supports stress management, mental health, mindfulness, healthy eating, weight loss and quality sleep.  Join us at the Cold Spring Branch as Cherie Dawn Haas leads us through some posses that are great for beginning your journey into yoga and meditation.

Sign up today and be sure to bring your own yoga mat or towel, and wear comfortable clothing!

Cherie Dawn Haas

Cherie Dawn Haas is a writer and maker who loves all things that involve creativity. She lives with her husband and two sons in Kentucky, where they manage a small vineyard and take care of their three dogs, Dangit Rusty, Hazel, and Delia, and a small flock of chickens. Cherie Dawn is the author of “Girl on Fire” (novel) and “Personified” (poetry), and a co-author of the “From Meditation to Creation” series. She was a finalist in the 2020 Poetry Unites Kentucky competition, has contributed to WritersDigest.com, and by day is the Editor for three Streamline Publishing art newsletters and websites. She is working on her second and third novels.
