Why did you want to serve on our board?
- To further support an entity that does so much in benefiting the community.
What is your favorite library memory?
- As a child: The comforting “library/old book” smell.
- As an adult: taking my own children to the infant & toddler story times.
What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
- The golden rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
- Ireland. Such a rich history.
What’s the most unusual thing in your desk drawer?
- A pair of pheasant shaped scissors.

- I am a plant person and will peruse garden forums to help with my gardening.
What is your all-time favorite book?
- An impossible question, depending on mood and context! I’ll go with a children’s book, The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore, by Joyce William.
