Why did you want to serve on our board?
My father, a retired teacher and coach, instilled a love of learning and literature into my daily routine from a very young age. The CCPL board is the perfect literal community combination of both entities.
What is something a parent taught you that you still live by today?
Definitely a lesson from dad — always wear cool gym shoes.
If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Seabrook Island, SC — private and peaceful.
What’s the most unusual thing in your desk drawer?
Lavender scented dog waste bags.
