City Barbeque Food for Thought Series: A Short History of Distance

Tuesday, April 10, 2018
6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

This presentation, the fourth in the City Barbeque Food for Thought series, will have Dr. Jonathan Reynolds from the NKU History and Geography Department examining the millennia old human battle with distance.  Where once distance defined the lives of almost everyone, we have now entered a phase of human existence where distance appears to be near defeat.  What technological and cultural transformations brought us to this point?  How might the end of distance change us?  Food will be provided by Highland Heights City Barbeque.  Register now as spots are limited.
