All Day

Through the Federal Work Study Program, a Northern Kentucky University education student will be available to meet with preschool and elementary students to work on reading and literacy activities.

These 30 to 60-minute tutoring sessions will take place at our Cold Spring Branch, 3920 Alexandria Pike, Cold Spring. Tutoring sessions are available on Tuesdays at 10 a.m., 11 a.m. and Noon; on Thursdays at 3 p.m., 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

A parent/guardian must be in attendance with the student at each session.

Register to express your interest in scheduling a session. In the Special Needs section of the form, please include your child’s name, age/grade, the preferred date and time, and any special educational needs to consider when planning for the session.

After you register, a library staff member will call or email to confirm the date and time of your meeting with the NKU student tutor. Sessions are not automatically scheduled upon completion of this registration form.

Meet our NKU student tutor:

“Hi everyone! My name is Aliyah. I am a current student at Northern Kentucky University double majoring in secondary  education and English. My passion is to teach students. I have experience tutoring and planning lessons for my own classes. I would love to help the community and use my knowledge to help others. I am very excited to start this journey with you all.”
