Family STEAM Night

Celebrate everything STEAM, or Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math, at the Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch. This annual festival features local presenters championing various STEAM careers, interests and topics. Bring the whole family out to a fun-filled and educational evening with the library.

No registration is required. 

Creator Competition and Creativity Labs

You can also cast your vote in the Creator Competition! During Family STEAM Night, attendees can vote on their favorite 6x6x6-inch creation. Winners are notified on Monday, March 30, and will receive a gift card. 

In March, the library hosts programs in which all ages can show off their creativity by making a 6x6x6-inch entry for the Creator Competition by using cardboard, felt, duct tape, aluminum foil and LEGOs. 

Creator Competition Program Dates

  • 6-8 pm Tuesday, March 3
  • 2-4 pm Thursday, March 5

If you cannot make it to one of the programs, you can make your own creations at home and turn it in to the Carrico/Fort Thomas Branch. Entries must be turned in by 5 pm on Thursday, March 26. Submissions will be displayed at Family STEAM Night, where you can vote for your favorite.
