Zoom Program: Healthy Choices for Every Body Series Part 1 of 4 — Know Your Limits

Wednesday, January 20, 2021
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm

The Campbell County Family & Consumer Sciences and Nutrition Education Programs are partnering up with the Campbell County Public Library to better help families plan meals, make good food choices and create a basic budget for family spending.

This program empowers participants to achieve and maintain good health by encouraging habits such as eating more fruits and vegetables, choosing low fat and high fiber foods and increasing physical activity within the constraints of a limited budget.

Melissa Pilcher, Nutrition Education Assistant from the UK Extension Office, will be teaching skills on how to cook a healthy meal from start to finish in a new 4 part series via Zoom.  Learn how to budget, plan recipes, shop, and to cook healthy and delicious meals from start to finish! Part 1 is to Know Your Limits: Needs Vs. Wants

This is a live program that will be conducted via Zoom, a free online video conferencing platform. Registration is required. On the day of the program, we will email you with the link to join the live program. You are not required to have a Zoom account . If you would like to create a free account though, you may do so at https://zoom.us/signup.

If you have any questions, please contact Clara at cgerner@cc-pl.org.
