Are you a mystery lover? The Cup of Crime Book Club is specifically for mystery readers. Grab some coffee with us to discuss this true crime book Submerged: Ryan Widmer, His Drowned Brice and the Justice System by Janice Hisle. Ten years ago, Ryan Widmer’s wife of four months, Sarah Widmer was found dead in the couple’s Cincinnati home. After two mistrials, Ryan Widmer was found guilty in the third trial of drowning her in the bathtub.
Author Janice Hisle is a former reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer and covered the trials. Ms. Hisle will be featured in the Library’s Spotlight Series. She will be visiting the Library in August to discuss this book.
