Cold Spring Stargazers Club

Thursday, March 3, 2022
6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Christa Speights, lecturer and planetarium director of the NKU Haile Planetarium, will join us at the Cold Spring Branch to talk about how we determine the composition of astronomical objects using light. This will include a spectroscopy demo and a discussion of the use of representative light in astronomy.

Join others as we study the night sky as it grows dark in March, track the moon and even study constellations using the Orion SkyQuest XT6 Classic Dobsonian Telescope.

Be part of the NASA Citizen Science club where amateur astronomers can provide NASA with real information from our local area night sky. Register now as spots are limited!

There will be a back up date due to possible bad weather or cloudy skies:  Thursday, March 10th.

Please note any accommodation requests in the Special Needs section of the registration form. If you have any accommodation requests or questions please contact Clara at cgerner@cc-pl.org.
