3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Thru-hiking is hiking a long-range trail (such as the Appalachian Trail) end to end. Learn about thru-hiking from Steve Barbour from the Sheltowee Trace Association. This program will cover gear, hiking and camping tips, and other things you may need to know to go thru-hiking.

This program will occur at the area indicated by the yellow square on the map below.  More information will be sent out to registered individuals closer to the event date.

This program is part of the library’s Camping with the Library program at A.J. Jolly, however, you must register for programs individually. It is not necessary to camp with the library to attend this program.
