Cold Spring Meeting RoomFall Into Literature is an annual short program series taking place at the Cold Spring Branch, where we shake up the ways in which you view pieces of classic literature.

This year for Fall Into Literature, join us as we delve into the origin of the hero's journey with The Odyssey! Homer's stories laid the groundwork for countless tales throughout history, and elements can be seen in all types of media.
This month, Northern Kentucky University's Kathleen Quinn joins us for a classroom-style lecture on The Odyssey. Make sure to register early for the chance to receive a free copy of the book to keep, while supplies last.

You can find Homer's works, The Iliad and The Odyssey, in our collection, both in physical and digital formats! Search by specific title or by author in the library's catalog to place items on hold.
Some of Homer's works are always available in our digital collection! Visit Kentucky Libraries Unbound and log in with your library card number, or search for his titles in Libby! If you have never used Libby or Kentucky Libraries Unbound and are unsure how to get started, visit any of our branches to speak with a branch services assistant for assistance.
