Early Literacy Play Date

The Newport Branch hosts Early Literacy Play Date on Saturday, May 16 from 11 am to 2 pm with fun, informative activities all afternoon! The program aims to connect caregivers of preschoolers to community partners and resources for early learning.

When: 11 am-2 pm Saturday, May 16

Where: Newport Branch (901 East Sixth Street)

Along with open space to play, families of young children can also receive information on local resources and services that can help set their child up for success. Developmental screenings will also be available through the Early Childhood Learning Education Assessment Resource Network. 

Community partners include:

  • Love on a Leash
  • NKCAC (Northern Kentucky Community Action Commission)
  • KY-SPIN (Kentucky Special Parent Involvement Network)

Early Literacy Play Date also includes a Preschool Fair, where caregivers can find the best learning environment for their early learners.
