Seeking Artists

All participating artists are asked to donate $10 to the Friends of the Library organization. You may submit the donation on the day of the event. Artists must be set up at our Newport Branch by 10:30 am on Saturday, Nov. 12.

Reserve your spot by completing the form below.

Click or drag files to this area to upload. You can upload up to 6 files.

FAQ for Artists

Why is the price point so low?

The purpose of YART is to get original art into the hands of people who wouldn’t normally have access to it. YART is for everyone.

Does the library charge commission?

Nope. All we ask is for a $10 donation on the day of the sale to the Friends of the Campbell County Public Library.

Do I need a table or tent?

We will have a table available for you at our Newport Branch (6 ft length, 2.5 feet wide).

How should I contact if I have a question?

Please contact Cody Elliott, the adult/teen services programmer at our Newport Branch.

Mine was a paper card with a metal piece for the number to go into the machine that stamped the number on the card in the book’s pocket. It was paper instead of plastic because those were for the book mobile.

I really don't remember, it was in the 80s. I went to the original Newport and Ft. Thomas branches.

I miss my orange/green/purple library card so much 😭 it was my favorite

I have all of the top 3! My teacher card has Cam on it but it’s different than the one pictured. #havingfunisnthardwhenyouhavealibrarycard

The third one, I believe. I worked there like ten years ago almost at this point, but I remember thinking "wow, we have really spiffy cards!"

The blue one! But I think I still have the orange/green/purple one somewhere in my house

The only 3 I’ve had are the top three 🙂 Blue as a kid, multi-color when I was a college student, top right is the card I have now as a mom/homeschooler.

The blue one! 😊 I was 8 years old when I got it.

The blue one. Loved the key chain fob update to use thou.

I think blue but the orange, green and purple is my favorite!

Still have mine from when I was a kid!
