In our 40th year as a formal library system, our 2017-18 Report to the Community honors our past while looking forward to a very promising future.

  •  Two special fall events will be held at Tower Park in Fort Thomas: For young ones and families, enjoy Story Time in the Park 10 a.m.-noon on Friday, Oct. 12. Enjoy stories and games and explore a real fire engine. Then, it’s the teens’ turn with a Zombie Party at the Tower Park Armory, 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19.
  • The Let’s Talk About It Lecture Series at Cold Spring concludes 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 as NKU English professor Tonya Krouse discusses Exit West by Moshin Hamid.
  •  Kentucky author and filmmaker Jerry Deaton shares Mountain Ghost Stories 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11 at Carrico/Fort Thomas.
  •  Hear the bluegrass all-star band Sister Sadie as part of our Signature Series 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19 at Newport.
  •  Alexandria’s Homeschool Hour celebrates chemistry with members of the American Chemical Society and Northern Kentucky University 1 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25.
