Local Author Visit: Mike Due
Local author Mike Due is visiting our Cold Spring Branch for the June meeting of our Cup of Crime Book Club on Wednesday, June 20.
The Cup of Crime Book Club is especially for mystery readers. The book club meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m.
Mike Due is the author of “Grave Consequences in Erlanger, KY.” Members of the book club selected the book for their June meeting.
About the Book
In 1977, five boys are gearing up for the best summer ever. When they decide to visit the local graveyard at midnight, one of them has a big surprise that none of the others would have expected. The next day, there’s a dead body in the graveyard, and it’s not a paying customer. Author Mike Due revisits the town of his youth and layers a satisfying murder mystery on top of the true feel of 1977 in the Midwest. Northern Kentucky residents will be pleased with the inclusion of local establishments now gone, while those unfamiliar with the area will be charmed by the all-American culture of Erlanger, Kentucky.
