Come Join us for Theater Workshops at the Library!  This is the first of a four part series.

 

Different theories of improv will be explored using games. Learn the concepts of long form vs short form improve. Games will be played and fun will be had by all. Come see how an improv class can benefit with public speaking and school performance. Improv skills are great for beginning actors and a necessity for advanced actors! 

 

Instructor Emily Martin is a native of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, and earned her B.F.A. in Performing Arts from Eastern Kentucky University 2001.  With more than 15 years working in musical theatre, Emily’s stage credits include roles for the Walt Disney World Entertainment, Childrens’ Theatre of Cincinnati, and a stint on the Delta Queen as the “Red Hot Mamma.”

Locally she has directed for Indian Hill Middle School and Ft. Thomas Schools as well designed and executed make up for King's Islands Halloween Haunt.

In 2013 she founded MartinE Productions which runs CampMartweenie a series of summer programs for Kindergarten-10th grade.
