World's Largest Storytime

Registration not required

Wednesday, August 10, 2016

11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.

Tower Park Amphitheater

Description

Join us as we partner with the Cincinnati Enquirer, United Way, the Public Library of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, and other area libraries to present the World’s Largest Storytime in celebration of the 175th anniversary of the Enquirer. Miss Heather, Miss Joan, Miss Joyce, Miss Laura and Miss Molly will be reading "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" in addition to other fun titles. Bring your own copy of "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" to read-along with us or check out a copy from your favorite branch!

We will have a random drawing to give away new copies of the book.  Huge thanks to Blue Marble Books for their donation.

We will also be making some fun crafts and Kona Ice will be handing out a cool, sweet treat during our storytime.

All Libraries participating in the World's Largest Storytime are collecting new or gently used children’s book during the event -- to be distributed for free to children in their communities. The goal of the drive is to collect 17,500 books.

Chicka Chicka Boom Boom! We will see you real soon!

We'd like to thank the City of Fort Thomas for donating Tower Park for this early literacy event, and Blue Marble Books for their participation and donations for the book raffle.
