CCMS/HS students get 2x the prizes & parties

The Campbell County Middle/High Schools and the Cold Spring Branch of the Campbell County Public Library are joining efforts to make summer reading count!

Students can combine the hours of school required reading with personal reading to earn a pizza and game event at school. Plus, you can be entered to win the awesome summer reading prizes the Library has to offer.

PizzaTo enter, students need to:

  1. Track the hours of reading for school assignments.
  2. Track the hours of reading for pleasure.
  3. When total hours = 30, fill out the top portion of the Summer Reading bookmark and turn it into the Cold Spring Library by August 1st. Get a fresh reading log and keep reading to be entered to win the Library’s awesome Summer Reading prizes.
  4. BAM! You are entered to win a pizza and game event to be held in the school media center at the beginning of the school year.

How do I enter to win the pizza and game event?
Fill out the top portion of the specially made bookmark from the Cold Spring Branch logging 30 hours of reading.

Where do I get the special bookmark?
Bookmarks will be handed out the last week of school or pick one up at the Cold Spring Branch of the Campbell County Library. 

Where do I turn in the bookmark?
Turn in the top portion of the bookmark to the Cold Spring Branch. They will coordinate with the middle and high school media centers for the game and pizza event.

How do I know if I win?
Winners will be notified in person by the school library in advance of the game and pizza event.

Where will the game and pizza event be held? 
There will be a game and pizza event held at the middle/high school media centers after school. Date to be announced.
