    • Library service is a rite of passage. My mother was a librarian.

    • Painted a mural on the wall of the library of Peanuts characters.
  • What “lesson from mom” do you still live by today?
    • Enjoy life.
  • If you could spend a week anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
    • In the US Congress as the Speaker of the House or the Senate. I believe I could get more done in a week than is now being done in a year.
  • What’s the most unusual thing in your desk drawer?
    • Moisture meter used to determine moisture content of hardwood lumber.
  • Please share a fun fact that people might be surprised to know about you.
    • I grew up on Knob Creek and swam in the same hole of water where, according to local legend, Abe Lincoln nearly drowned.
